HL Deb 18 May 1903 vol 122 c909
LORD HENEAGE

I beg to ask His Majesty's Government whether the Bill for the creation of a Fisheries Board has been prepared, and, if so, whether it will be introduced before Whitsuntide; also whether it is still the intention of the Government that the Fisheries Board shall be under the charge of the same Minister who may be appointed to preside over the Board of Agriculture.

EARL HOWE

There is no change in the policy of the Government, but no statement can be made at present as to the date at which the Bill will be introduced. The Bill, I understand, has been prepared.

House adjourned at twenty-five minutes before Eight o'clock, till To-morrow, half-past Ten o'clock.
