HL Deb 23 June 1903 vol 124 cc201-2
THE MARQUESS OF RIPON

My Lords, I beg to ask His Majesty's Government a Question of which I have given private notice—whether it is true that letters patent have been issued making important modifications in the Constitution of Malta, and, if so, whether correspondence on that subject will be laid before Parliament without unnecessary delay.

THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (The Duke of DEVONSHIRE)

The reply to the Question of the noble Marquess is in the affirmative. The Papers on the subject will be laid on the Table of the House in a very few days.
