HL Deb 03 November 1902 vol 113 cc1378-9
THE LORD PRESIDENT OF THE COUNCIL (The DUKE of DEVONSHIRE)

My Lords. I understand that it is necessary or desirable that the House should meet for purely formal business in connection with a Provisional Order Bill on this day week. I understand, also, that the noble and learned Earl on the Woolsack, the Lord Chancellor, proposes that the House should meet for judicial business on the following Tuesday—namely, on the 11th instant. But as far as I am aware, there will not be any ordinary business taken before this day fortnight. I move, therefore, that the House on its rising stand adjourned till Monday next.

On Question, Motion agreed to.

House adjourned at twenty minutes before Five o'clock, to Monday next, a quarter past Four o'clock.
