HL Deb 03 March 1902 vol 104 cc153-4

Moved, That there be laid before the House a return of the number of continuous discharge hooks issued since the continuous discharges came into operation.—(The Lord Muskerry.)

THE EARL OF DUDLEY

I do not quite follow, from my noble friend's Motion, whether he is anxious that this information should be given in the form of a Parliamentary Return, or whether he will be satisfied by my telling him tonight the number of continuous discharges that up to the end of last week had been issued. That number was 192,000. If that information satisfies my noble friend it will save the trouble of preparing a Parliamentary Return.

LORD MUSKERRY

I am quite satisfied.

Motion (by leave of the House) with-drawn.
