The Lord Chancellor acquainted the House that he had received the following letter from Sir Francis Knollys, K.C.M.G., K.GB.

Buckingham Palace.

4th June, 1902.

My Lord,—I am commanded by the King to inform your Lordship that, accompanied by the Queen, he proposes to be present at the Thanksgiving Service at St. Paul's Cathedral, on Sunday next the 8th instant, and to state that, should any Members of the House of Lords desire to attend on the occasion, His Majesty will direct places to be reserved for them.
