§ Commons message considered (according to order).
§ Moved, That a Committee of five Lords be appointed to join with a Committee of the House of Commons as mentioned in the said Message (The Lord President (D. Devonshire); agreed to.
§ The Lords following were named of the Committee:—
- M. Cholmondeley.
- E. Spencer.
- E. Howe.
- E. Carrington.
- L. Rathmore.
§ Ordered, That such Committee have power to agree with the Committee of the House of Commons in the appointment of a chairman.
§ Then a Message was ordered to be sent to the House of Commons in answer to their said Message to inform them of the appointment of the said Committee by this House.
