HL Deb 11 March 1901 vol 90 c1140
THE EARL OF NORTHBROOK

I wish to put a question to the noble Marquess the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs of which I have given him private notice—namely, whether he is prepared to lay upon the Table of the House the Minute written by the late Commander-in-Chief of the Army which he quoted in his speech on Monday last.

*THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS (The Marquess of LANSDOWNE)

The Paper will, I understand, be presented by the War Office. I only received notice a few minutes ago that the noble Earl would ask this question, and I therefore have not been able to ascertain when it will be presented. But the Paper is in existence, and I imagine it will be presented forth with.
