I wish to ask the noble Earl the First Lord of the Admiralty if he is quite sure as to the correctness of the answer he gave to a question I put to him on Thursday last.

I stated in answer to the noble Lord on Thursday last that the Admiralty had had no communication of any sort from the Merchant Service Guild before October of last year on the subject which the noble Lord brought before the House. That was a mistake. A communication had been received in April.
