Petition of Charles Botolph Joseph, Lord Mowbray, Lord Seagrave, and Baron and Lord Stourton of Stourton, in the county of Wilts, praying that the petition of Henry Duke of Norfolk, presented to this House on the 25th day of February last, be not considered until after he has lodged a printed case disclosing the grounds upon which he claims to be heard in opposition to the Petitioner, and the evidences by which he proposes to substantiate his claim to be Earl of Norfolk under the alleged creation of 1664, and by which he proposes to show that any connection exists between the Earldom of Norfolk, created in 1312 in favour of Thomas Brotherton and his heirs, and the Earldom alleged to have been created in 1644 in favour of Thomas Howard, Earl of Arundel and Surrey, and his heirs male; read, and referred to the Committee of Privileges.
