§ THE SEVENTH SESSION OF THE FOURTEENTH PARLIAMENT of Her Majesty the Queen, and the Twenty-sixth Parliament of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, was opened by Commission at Two of the clock.
§ The Lords Commissioners were:—The LORD CHANCELLOR (the Earl of Halsbury), the LORD PRIVY SEAL (Viscount Cross), the LORD CHAMBERLAIN (the Earl of Hopetoun), the EARL of KINTORE, and Lord BELPER.
§ The Commons being at the Bar with their Speaker, the LORD CHANCELLOR delivered Her Majesty's Speech to both Houses of Parliament, as follows:—
