LORD RAGLANMy Lords, I beg to. ask Her Majesty's Government whether they will include embodied Militiamen in any Bill they may introduce to prevent the Reserve men, Yeomanry, and Volunteers from being disfranchised by doing permanent duty. I only ask this question because, both in the discussions on this subject in the public Press and in another place, no mention has been made of the Militia.
§ *THE MARQUESS OF LANSDOWNEIn any Bill which is introduced for this purpose we shall certainly take particular care that the Militia are provided for. I may comfort the noble Lord by stating that I have seen the draft of the Bill, and Militia men are included in it.
