The Queen's Answer to the Address of Tuesday last, delivered by the Lord Steward (E. Pembroke and Montgomery), and read as follows:—

"I thank you for your loyal and dutiful address. I unite with you in the expression of indignation and deep concern at the tidings of the assassination of my illustrious ally His Majesty the King of Italy, and I will not fail to convey to His Majesty's successor on the throne your sentiment and abhorrence at the perpetration of such a crime, and your sympathy with the Royal Family of Italy and with the Government and people of that country."
