HL Deb 11 February 1897 vol 46 c125

House in Committee (according to Order); Bid reported without amendment.

LORD HERSCHELL

said that as the Bill was of a very simple character, and as it was desirable that it should pass as rapidly as possible, he thought their Lordships would agree that it need not go to Standing Committee. He therefore moved that the Standing Committee be negatived.

Motion agreed to; and Bill to be Read 3a To-morrow.
