said, he wished to correct an erroneous statement he had made the other evening, on presenting a Petition respecting the proposed viaduct over Ludgate Hill. He then spoke under the impression that the Bill upon the subject was unopposed. He had since found that this project of the London, Chatham, and Dover Railway Company was warmly opposed by the Brighton and South Eastern Companies.
