§ On the motion of the Duke of Wellington, the House went into Committee on the Poor-law Commission Bill.
§ The Duke of Wellingtonsaid, the object of the bill was, to continue the Poor-law Commission till the 31st of July next, otherwise it would expire at the end of the present year, in order that the Poor-law might be carried into effect.
