HL Deb 08 March 1830 vol 22 c1342

The 26th Report of the Carnatic Commissioners was presented at the Bar.

The Marriage Validating Bill was read a second time.

Earl STANHOPE stated, that indisposition would prevent his noble friend the Duke of Richmond from bringing forward his motion for a Select Committee to inquire into the state of the Country on Thursday next. The noble Duke intended to bring the subject before the House as soon as the state of his health would permit, and would give due notice of the motion. Meanwhile, he should move that the order be discharged.—Discharged accordingly.
