§ Mr. JuddI thank my right hon. Friend for that reply. Does he agree that many people in relevant professions and many local authorities are very anxious to know soon what plans they should be making for the future, particularly for the provision of residential accommodation?
§ Mr. JenkinsI am certainly aware that it is desirable to end uncertainty in these and related matters as soon as possible. I am also aware that there is pressure on Parliamentary time and that there has been and will, I hope, be in the forthcoming Session a good deal of Home Office legislation. We cannot do everything at once, but I certainly want to give a firm structure to the future in this field as soon as is practicable.
