HC Deb 25 May 1922 vol 154 c1386
2. Mr. ROBERT YOUNG

asked the Minister of Pensions whether he is aware that the late F. Allsopp, No. 477,120, sapper, Royal Engineers, suffered from sunstroke and malaria while in Mesopotamia, and that shortly after demobilisation he was afflicted with paralysis; whether the claim for pension was disallowed, and on what grounds; and whether the circumstances of his death have been reported to the Ministry, and with what result to his widow?

The MINISTER of PENSIONS (Mr. Macpherson)

I am, looking into this case, and will communicate with my hon. Friend at an early date.
