asked the Lord Privy Seal whether, seeing that the London memorandum of the experts states that the limitation of import should be effected by the medium of Customs duties rather than by a system of prohibition modified by licences, an Amendment to the Dyestuffs Act is to be introduced by the Government?

I have been asked to reply. The answer is in the negative. Dyestuffs constitute one of those special cases which the memorandum expressly contemplates.
