HC Deb 23 March 1922 vol 152 cc655-6
35. Mr. G. BARNES

asked the Lord Privy Seal if he can yet name a day for the introduction of a Bill to deal with allotments; is he aware of the widespread interest in the question, not only on the part of allotment holders, but by those concerned with public health and the increase of home-grown food; and will he make a statement of the Government's intentions before Easter?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

I cannot speak definitely, but I hope that the Bill will be introduced before Easter, either here or in another place.

Lieut.-Colonel MURRAY

Has any decision been come to as to a separate Bill for Scotland?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

That is under consideration.
