HC Deb 01 March 1922 vol 151 c440

I come to the subject of war pensions. The war pensions administration themselves put forward suggestions for a reduction in their expenditure of £6,000,000 and these have been adopted both by the Geddes Committee and the Government. I ought to assure the House that will not involve any diminution in the pension to which any pensioner is entitled. The saving is entirely effected by economies in the working of the Department itself.
