HC Deb 01 March 1922 vol 151 c440

I turn now to the Second Report which deals for the most part with trade and agriculture, and I shall survey the proposals of the Committee and the Government recommendations as rapidly as I can. In the trade group, the reduction recommended is £538,000, and we have accepted a reduction of £495,000, making a difference of £43,000. There are certain items in connection with this Second Report which I think I ought to bring to the notice of the House. With regard to some of them, questions have already been asked me and I will try to answer them now in the course of my speech.
