HALLasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in connection with the issue of their final Report, the Committee on National Expenditure have 1700 asked for information as regards the policy of the Government with respect to the revision of the Navy Estimates, as the result of the Washington Conference, oil stocks and oil storage, and the maintenance of permanent military garrisons abroad; and whether this information has been furnished to the Committee in such a form as to enable them satisfactorily to frame their final recommendations?
