asked the Prime Minister whether steps, analogous to those taken in America to fund the debts due by the Allies, will now be taken to secure the funding of the debts due to Great Britain by the Allies, unless there be general agreement among the Allies to disarm and to evacuate occupied territories?

I am not sure that I follow the connection between the beginning and the end of my hon. and gallant Friend's question. The United States Government has, thus far, done no more than obtain powers from its Congress to arrange for funding, powers which His Majesty's Government already possesses.
