This must be done during the week, and I propose to ask the House to take the discussion, if time permit, to-morrow, after the Report Stage of the Financial Resolution of the Safeguarding of Industries Bill, and, if time should not permit to-morrow, then on Wednesday, after the discussion of the Supplementary Estimates for Members' Expenses.
§ Motion made, and Question put, "That the Proceedings on Consideration of the Housing Bill, as amended, and of the Committees on Housing (Scotland) [Grants], Overseas Trade [Credits and Insurances], and Finance [Consolidated Fund] be exempted at this day's Sitting from the provisions of the Standing Order (Sittings of the House."—[Mr. Chamberlain.]
