§ Mr. SHORTTI think it would be undesirable to make any further statement in this matter at present. The statement 314 made by my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State on the 20th April still holds good.
§ Lieut.-Colonel CROFTWhy is it undesirable? Would it not be a good thing for the country to know the facts? Is it not the case that two years ago the late Leader of the House informed me that very large sums of money had come from Scandinavia, and have not Ministers recently hinted that large sums have been coming in? Is the country not entitled to know?
§ Mr. SHORTTI have nothing to add to the statement which I have made.
