HC Deb 15 June 1921 vol 143 c405
45. Sir R. CLOUGH

asked the Prime Minister whether, at the Imperial Conference which will shortly meet, there will be present any special representative of the Department of Overseas Trade to advise on the effect of any diplomatic agreements, such as the Anglo-Japanese Alliance, on British trade in China and elsewhere?

Mr. CHAMBERLAIN

It is always open to the President of the Conference to invite the attendance of the representative of any Department when matters in which it is concerned are under discussion.
