HC Deb 19 October 1920 vol 133 c772
35. Major ENTWISTLE

asked the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to afford facilities for the Divorce Bill which has passed the House of Lords?

Mr. RONALD McNEILL

Will the right hon. Gentleman bear in mind that during the present Session a Resolution of this House supporting the proposal of the Bill was defeated by a large majority?

Mr. BONAR LAW

As the Government propose to take the whole time of the Session, I see no prospect of this Bill being further advanced.
