§ Dr. MACNAMARAI understand that the Federation of Master Cotton Spinners' Associations decided on 3rd December that, commencing with Monday, 6th December, spinners of American cotton should stop their mills on Monday, Tuesday, and Saturday of each week. The exact number of persons affected is not yet known, but is probably not less than 100,000.
