§ If and when any tramway of the company is purchased under the provisions of the Lanarkshire Tramways Acts, 1900 to 1908, and if and when the tramway undertaking of the Airdrie and Coatbridge Tramways Company authorised by and operated under the provisions of the Airdrie and Coatbridge Tramways Acts, 1900 to 1920, is purchased by the town councils of the burghs of Coatbridge and Airdrie, the powers of the company to work and use omnibuses on the route of any such tramway shall cease and the company shall only be entitled to work and use omnibuses on the route of such tramway for the purpose of crossing and getting beyond the said routes.—[Mr. C.
