Which provisions of the Children Act 1975 have been implemented, and on what dates.

The following provisions of the Children Act 1975, together with Schedules 1 and 2 and parts of Schedules 3 and 4 to the Act, have been brought into force:

In England and Wales:

Sections 71, 72, 82, 108 and 109 on 12th November 1975; Sections 3, 8(9), 8(10), 13, 59, 83 to 91, 94, 98 to 100 and 103 to 107 on 1st January 1976; Sections 8(1) to 8(5), 8(7), 8(8), 10 to 12, 17(1) to 17(3), 21(1), 21(2), 22(4), 22(5), 26, 28(c)(ii), 29 to 31, 56, 57, 58 (part), 64 (part), 65, 67, 68 and 101 on 26th November 1976; Sections 92 and 93 on 1st January 1977; Section 24 on 23rd October 1979; Sections 21(2A) and 24(8A) on 20th November 1978.

In Scotland:

Sections 72, 82, 108 and 109 on 12th November 1975; Sections 3, 83, 84, 99, 100, 103 and 105 to 107 on 1st January 1976; Sections 8(1) to 8(6), 10(1), 10(2), 11, 12, 17(1), 17(2), 17(4), 21(4), 22(4), 22(5), 22(6), 27, 28(c)(ii), 29, 30(1), 30(2), 30(6), 31, 73, 74 (part), 76, 77 (part), 79, and 81 on 7th March 1977; Section 24 on 23rd October 1978; Section 24(8A) on 20th November 1978.
