§ Lord AVEBURYasked Her Majesty's Government:
Whether they are aware of the grave concern felt by the Churches concerning the continued violations of human rights which have occurred in El Salvador during the months of October and November, and the continued campaign of defamation against churchmen there; and on what occasions if any, they have brought this concern to the attention of the Salvadorean authorities.
§ Lord GORONWY-ROBERTSHer Majesty's Government are aware of this concern which has been brought to the attention of the Salvadorean Ambassador on several occasions.
