("Extension of time for presenting Petitions

201A.—(1) When the time allowed for presenting a Petition. being a Petition to which this Order applies by virtue of paragraph (2) of Standing Order 101 or paragraph (2) of Standing Order 184 or paragraph (4) of Standing Order 216, expires during a holiday period or a long adjournment, the time shall be extended—

  1. (a) to the first sitting day after the expiration of the holiday period or long adjournment as the case may be; or
  2. (b) if the time expires during a long adjournment which ends at the beginning of or during a holiday period, to the first sitting day after that holiday period.

(2) In this Order the expression 'holiday period' means any of the periods of ten days beginning with the Twenty-third day of December, Good Friday, the Friday before Whitsun or the Friday before the first Monday in August.")
