Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Ordered, That, for the purposes of any Act resulting from the Antarctic Minerals Bill [Lords], ("the Act"), it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any sums which Her Majesty's Government in the United Kingdom are obliged to pay to any person under or by virtue of the Convention of the Regulation of Antarctic Mineral Resource Activities;
  2. (b) any administrative expenses of the Secretary of State in consequence of the provisions of the Act; and
  3. (c) any increase attributable to the Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any other Act.—[Mr. Maclean.]
