HC Deb 27 March 1986 vol 94 c1082
Mr. John McWilliam (Blaydon)

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. Further to the answers given by the Leader of the House to my hon. Friends the Members for Kingston upon Hull, North (Mr. McNamara) and for Greenock and Port Glasgow (Dr. Godman) on the Armed Forces Bill, we have a problem because we shall not be able to draft amendments to the Bill in the light of the Select Committee's report until less than 24 hours before we debate the Bill. Will you accept amendments much later than normal?

Mr. Speaker

I thank the hon. Member. I had already picked up that message in the earlier exchanges. I shall certainly do that.
