§ Mr. BlakerThe possible effects on Ministry of Defence interests of the decision by my right hon. Friend regarding the proposed new runway are under detailed study. It is, however, too early to say what the results of this examination are likely to be.
§ Mr. SteelWhen will that study be completed? In the meantime, may I ask whether there is equipment at the headquarters of Scottish Command which 220 will be affected by the passing of jets overhead?
§ Mr. BlakerWe expect the study to be completed in a few weeks. We must await the results of the study before being in a position to answer the second part of the hon. Gentleman's supplementary question in a useful manner.
