§ Mr. ChannonMy right hon. Friend intends to follow up the successful floodlighting of Duck Island last summer by floodlighting in addition this year the footbridge over the lake and the island at the Buckingham Palace end of the lake.
§ Mr. MoateApart from the residents of Duck Island, who must be somewhat bewildered by this disturbance of their nocturnal habits, there is widespread approval of the enlightened programme of floodlighting which has been introduced in recent years. Will my right hon. Friend give further encouragement to new schemes wherever suitable, perhaps in other central Royal parks?
