§ Sir F. SoskiceIn 1964, 907 Commonwealth citizens subject to immigration control under the Commonwealth Immigrants Act 1962 were refused admission. For the first half of 1965, the figure was 754.
§ Mr. GoodhartIn the light of these figures, does the right hon. and learned Gentleman believe that the problem of illegal entry which, on his own admission, has reached frightening proportions, is to some extent being checked?
