§ 20. Mr. R. Edwardsasked the Secretary of State for the Colonies the amounts which have been, and will be, spent on airfields and air communications and road communications, respectively, for the years 1956–58 in Sierra Leone.
§ Mr. ProfumoExpenditure on airfields and air communications totalled £86,250 in 1956 and £83,490 in 1957. Expenditure for 1958 is estimated at £163,652. On the information at present available, expenditure on roads and bridges in 1956 was £213,904, whilst estimated expenditure in 1957 and 1958 is £437,000 and £645,000 respectively.
