50. Mr. Gresham Cooke

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he is aware of the need for electors on holiday to be able to exercise their right to vote at Elections; and whether he will give consideration to proposing an amendment to Section 12 of the Representation of the People Act, 1949, so as to allow persons absent on holiday to be registered as postal voters.
