Motion made, and Question proposed, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to amend the law in regard to the protection of salmon and freshwater fish in Scotland, including the whole of the River Tweed, and for purposes connected therewith, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses of the Secretary of State under the said Act."—[Mr. McNeil.]
