HC Deb 26 February 1946 vol 419 c1753
Mr. Eden

May I ask the Leader of the House a Question on Business? I see there is a Motion on the Paper for the Suspension of the Rule. Can the right hon. Gentleman tell us what his intentions are, and how far he hopes to get?

The Lord President of the Council (Mr. Herbert Morrison)

We have put the Motion down for the purpose of making progress with the Trade Disputes and Trade Unions Bill, and we hope to make reasonable progress. I hope, if that is done, that it will not be necessary for the House to sit unduly late.
