Gentleman aware that these men remained in the Egyptian service at the express request of the British authorities when most of them wanted to join the British Army, that they have been working in the closest possible co-operation and that their services have been invaluable, and will he reconsider this matter?
§ The Prime MinisterAll those conditions would apply to a great number of people who did not have the honour to be called upon to serve actively in the African campaign.
