Friend the Minister without Portfolio has appointed to undertake, as part of post-war planning, a comprehensive survey of all existing schemes of social insurance and assistance.

§ Mr. BrownI should not like to give a pledge of that kind. This is only one of a very large number of questions now being considered, in the light of the needs which will have to be met after the war.
