HC Deb 26 November 1941 vol 376 c727
9. Mr. Edmund Harvey

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether there have been any discussions with the Russian Government as to the possibility of an exchange of scientific missions between the two countries; and with what results?

Mr. Eden

The possibility of an exchange of scientific missions between this country and the Soviet Union has been discussed with the Soviet Government. While such an exchange would be welcome to both Governments, there are obvious practical difficulties in putting it into effect at the present moment.
