HC Deb 06 August 1941 vol 373 c1927
9. Sir John Wardlaw-Milne

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs what has been the effect of the economic measures taken by Great Britain against Japan so far; and if it is not intended to make the measures completely operative, to what extent, and on what basis, are licences to be granted?

Mr. Eden

I would refer my hon. Friend to the reply given yesterday to my hon. Friend the Member for East Wolverhampton (Mr. Mander), to which I have nothing to add.
