HC Deb 08 April 1941 vol 370 c1418
70. Sir Henry Morris-Jones

asked the President of the Board of Education, what steps he is taking to bring to an end the present disagreement between the parents of children in the Llanrwst Council School, in the county of Denbigh, and the local education authority, in view of the fact that for some months the children have not received any school education?

The President of the Board of Education (Mr. Ramsbotham)

The Board are still in communication with the Denbighshire local education authority, and hope to learn that all the Llanrwst children will be attending school after the Easter holidays.

Sir H. Morris-Jones

Is my right hon. Friend in a position to impose a settlement locally, in view of the very unsatisfactory state of affairs?

Mr. Ramsbotham

It would be very much better to get agreement.
