§ The Parliamentary Secretary to the Ministry of Transport (Mr. Montague)Throughout the country, the railway companies are actively engaged in the salvage of waste and scrap material of all kinds, and its systematic collection and disposal. If my hon. Friend is aware of any particular stocks of old iron, and will inform me of the stations or yards where they are situated, I shall be happy to have the matter looked into.
