HC Deb 04 June 1940 vol 361 c775
Sir H. Morris-Jones

On a point of Order. Will the very important statement on the war which the Prime Minister is contemplating making to the House, and which we are all anxious to hear, be made in the traditional way on a Motion for the Adjournment of the House, and will any right hon. Gentleman or hon. Gentleman who cares to say a word be able to do so?

Mr. Speaker

The statement will be made as a Statement, and not on the Adjournment of the House.
