HC Deb 07 September 1939 vol 351 c565
3. Mr. Vyvyan Adams

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department what steps are now being taken by His Majesty's Government to deal with organisation such as the Link and the Anglo-German Fellowship?

The Secretary of State for the Home Department (Sir John Anderson)

I understand that the Link has gone into voluntary liquidation and the Anglo-German Fellowship has entirely suspended its activities.

Mr. Mander

May I ask whether it is the case that some members of the Link, British members, are being detained?

Sir J. Anderson

I cannot answer that question without notice.

Lieut.-Colonel Sir Thomas Moore

Is the right hon. Gentleman aware that the members of these two organisations are as equally determined to defeat Hitlerism as anybody?
